Is E-mail Ideal Means of Communication?

 When we came into this world we are given names by our Guardians so that we are recognised and known by the world;  likewise when we get a new smartphone or laptop or tablet we name ourselves through Gmail or Email to be recognised by the internet world. It is used to get access to many websites or apps. 

E-mail (Electronic Mail) or G-mail (Google mail) came as a pro version of postal mail. The first version of the email was invented by (MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in1965, six years later, Ray Tomlinson brought the email in today's form.

Email is one of the internet communication platforms where we send and receive messages, images, files videos, etc. It is specially used for the official works and promotion of business. 

The blessings of Email:

1) The medium of communication is very fast.

2)It is easily available and it is cheap.

3) The lost messages can be traced back.

4) It can communicate to many people at a time.

5) It is used as an id to get access to many sites and apps.

6) It has less disturbance/distraction, unlike other social media.

7) Signature could be signed in the documents.

The drawbacks of Email.

1) It is linked with any personal information. This gives chance to hackers to get access to our personal information or privacy.

2) The sender cannot know whether the received has received the message or not.

3) The access email id is not erased. This gives space for the commercial promotors to send messages to promote the items. This could create a nuisance by excessive messages.

4) It is not a very active communication platform so messages can be missed out.

5) It is used for official works. Therefore People trust this site easily which gives chance to scammers to scams.

6) It can not be used where there is no internet connection.

7) Only electric gadgets which can access the internet can get access to it. This makes it difficult for very poor people to get access to it.

8) Many people (especially illiterate) do not know how to use email.

In the present scenario, Email ID is mostly used to get access to websites and apps. It is one of the most used and useful apps. Smartphones without email would not be appropriate to be called smartphones. The drive which comes along with email is a useful app to store files, images, videos, etc. The coming of email has been a great blessing to the world. It has made our life easier to connect far and near ones.

 The Mystery of God’s Call Why has God created me? What am I called to do to fulfill the purpose of my life?
